FL SAND members talk about self-advocacy at their annual conference. 

One of the best ways to get involved in self-advocacy is by joining a local group. Florida Self-advocates Network'D (FL SAND) has active groups throughout the state and new members are always welcome. Click through to FL SAND's local groups page to see if there's a group near you. Self-Advocacy Online is a very informative site for new self-advocates. Information about self-advocacy is explained by self-advocates.

Self Advocacy Resource and Technical Assistance Center

Does your group or organization need help? SARTAC is there to answer questions and help you find the information to strengthen your self-advocacy group. They can provide technical assistance on many self-advocacy topics. They will answer your questions by email, phone or video conference.
