to appoint people they trust to support them in making their own decisions.

Provider Rate Increases

With Pay Fair for My Care, the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council has created ways that Florida’s most vulnerable citizens can educate the Florida Legislature on why increasing HCBS provider rates translates to saving and preserving the quality of thousands of lives.

There are more than 22,000 Floridians with disabilities waiting for the Florida iBudget Medicaid Waiver that will allow them access to vital services they need to live independently. The Florida Center for Inclusive Communities at the University of South Florida initiated the ongoing DD Waitlist Campaign prior to the 2017 Legislative Session.
