DD advocacy groups and self-advocates meet in Tallahassee for meetings with legislators. 

Partners in Policymaking is a leadership and advocacy training program that teaches individuals with developmental disabilities and parents to become community leaders and catalysts for systems change.

The Annual Family Cafe brings together thousands of Floridians with disabilities and their family members for three days of information, training, and networking each June. Limited financial assistance can be applied for as part of the registration process, which begins in February.

The Power of Our Voices: The 2025 Florida Self-Advocacy Conference is for members of FL SAND's local self-advocacy groups and all self-advocates in Florida. Held every other year, it is the largest gathering of self-advocates and their allies in Florida.
