The Florida Commission for Transportation Disadvantaged helps to insure the availability of efficient, cost-effective, and quality transportation services for people with disabilities. Self-advocates are able to have a voice in its state and regional administrations.

AAPD is a national advocacy organization that promotes equal access to transportation for people with disabilities, including promoting improved accessibility in public transportation and  investment in accessible transit options.
