Idelio Valdes Award Nominations Due January 26

Nominations for the 2018 Idelio Valdes Leadership and Advocacy Award given by the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council (FDDC) are open until January 26. The award will be announced during Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day at the State Capitol February 14.

The award is given annually to an individual with a developmental disability who has been actively involved in self-advocacy at the grassroots and/or state level for at least 2 years and has worked to forge community partnerships.

Nominations should be forwarded to the FDDC by 5pm January 26. Find more information about the award and nomination process here.
