The Power of Our Voices: The 2025 Florida Self-Advocacy Conference is August 22-24 in Orlando

The 2025 Florida Self-Advocacy Conference will bring self-advocates together to unite their voices to bring change for people with disabilities in our state.
The conference will be held August 22 to 24 at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando. The theme is The Power of Our Voices. The goal is to amplify the voices of people with disabilities to bring changes to disability-related issues at the grassroots level.
Hosted by the FL SAND Fellows Leadership Program, an exciting weekend of training from Breaking Barriers Training Academy, a keynote speaker, interactive breakout sessions led by self-advocates, and much more is planned. The keynote speaker is Karolyn Campbell. She is a disability advocate and a Orange County Soil and Water Conservation District Representative. She was also the first legally blind elected official in Florida. More information about Ms. Campbell is available on the FL SAND website.
